    SuperSprint 3g.

    Figured I'd start a new thread to go with the new direction I'm headed in.

    What direction is that, you ask? The Victorian SuperSprint Championship!

    I'll be building my lude to compete in Category 2: Modified Production Vehicles, all mods will be engineered and the car will still have full rego for road use.

    I'm giving myself 2 years or so to get the thing done to a point where I'll be happy with it (Around the time I get my full license and complete my mechanic's apprenticeship)

    Things on the cards at the moment, before I start getting into the grit of it-

    -Rebuild b20a with new rings/bearings, so the car is still drive-able.
    -Manual Conversion -DONE
    -oil temp/pressure/water temp gauges -DONE
    -Dual core alluminium radiator - DONE
    -Extractors -DONE
    -full 2.25" exhaust
    -5-point harness
    -SS Braided brake lines
    -S2k Front Brake Conversion
    -Aftermarket Bucket Seats - DONE

    Once all that's done-
    -Bodywork + respray/vinyl wrap
    -Engineered 4-point bolt-in rollcage
    -Engineered H22 conversion
    -Coilovers
    -Urethane bushes all round





    It's a big, expensive project. But hey, it's in my blood.

    ^^ yeah civic radiator would be a downgrade, too small. Especially if you are going to track it. The only reason you would use one would be if you were trying to fit a giant t4 turbo in front of the motor. Even then i would buy a tucked full size one.

    And this, is why I created a build thread for it!

    Guess I'll just get a 4g/5g one since aftermarket 3g ones are terribly hard to find- Or just get a generic one and fab up some brackets

    Also, if anyone knows of someone selling whiteline swaybars, lemme know! (As I'll be grabbing them for retail price @ pedders in a couple weeks if I can't find any second hand ones soon)

    Nah, it's staying NA, that's just a sandwitch plate for oil temp and oil pressure gauges

    Well the head got sent off today for reconditioning, and the crank is back in the block.

    Also, a little progress on the bodywork...

    Interior is pretty close to finished (Minus the cage which is last on the list, won't get it done until it's ready for the track)

    Just waiting on the 5-point harness which should be arriving tomorrow, and a new shift knob and boot.

    The rear interior is stripped

    It's going on club rego and will be my weekend drive so the front interior is staying
