I'm pretty interested to know this myself. I've found a few different rails used in Japan (legit Bride and Recaro) but cost around $150-$200 a side by the time they're here. Other than that new ones would be $300+ each from either Japan or the US. The proper rails are direct bolt-in too, no modifications needed, but there are a few different types depending on if you have a bottom or side mount seat. I don't know of the legalities of running aftermarket rails either, the ADR's are a bit vague in this area but I believe that ANY non-OEM seat and/or rail is expected to be mod plated. You could always get some universal sliders and get some custom brackets welded to them. The seats themselves should be much easier to source, just buy whatever you like the look of. A pretty common swap is to take the stock Recaro's from an ITR and throw them in, looks pretty good and they're a nice enough seat too.

I'm interested in this, at 189cm I'm slightly too tall for my BB6 so some lowered seat rails or a lower seat is definitely on my radar.
HAs anyone fitted anything a bit lower with more support?

I had recaro seats in my 4g

you can get universal sliders for around 80ea then brackets
    or
import a used set of rails for around 250, otherwise new is 400-450 (Bride or Recaro)

It depends on the rails you pick, some are standard height, while others are lower or higher.
For the prelude I used adjustable recaro rails where I could alter the height and tilt of the rail however they would be very hard to find these days.
Bride still make several different types of rails, pick your seat and then pick the rail.

I fitted my corbeau revolution (solid side mount) wrap around in my 4th gen using the original rails, I just measured up the width, drilled holes in the rails, cut the seat belt receiver mount off and re welded it then slightly modified the side mounts.. Pretty simple if you are mechanically minded... They sat really nice and low too...

However I was in the process off doing some bride recliners for a friend in his 4g and I found the seat mounts were slightly wider which I was going to just weld an extra piece to the rails to make it work however i never got around to it and ended up in Aus hah

They do fit SR3 but you have to buy the ones that fit the new bride seats (ergo 2 etc). IIRC they are Bride RO rails but double check.

Yes, Bride ROs will fit SR3. ROs are actually for the older style seats, e.g. they fit my Recaro LX. They will place the seat up to 30mm lower. Maybe even 50mm? Don't recall.
