F22a1 > H22A OBD2

Gday guys

I currently have a 92 f22a1 4th gen prelude and plan to swap to a h22a, I have access to a 97 h22a.
I plan on using a p13 OBD1 ecu now from the information I can gather the 97 h22 uses
saturated 280/90cc injectors and the OBD1 92-96 are peak and hold 345cc injectors
is this a simple as finding a set of injectors from a 92-96 motor or is there more to converting the engine
to OBD1 also the distributor on the 97 has the same plug as a 92 h22 is there any need to change the dizzy?
if there is anything else I should know please let me know cheers.

Yes, you will need to change injectors to the peak & hold for OBD1. I got mine from a Honda Wreckers in Melbourne for $90 shipped.

Make sure the p13 is suited for the transmission you are running (auto or manual although they can be modified).

Change the auto timing belt tensioner to a manual one & install a new belt. See here: http://www.preludepower.com/forums/s...d.php?t=229140

Adjust valve clearances, add new fluids & you should be good to go.

Just a note on vtec, it won't engage if you have the car in neutral or park so don't sit in your driveway revving your engine. When it does engage you will hear the exhaust note change but the actual vtec crosseover at around 4500rpm should be smooth if the car is tuned.

I thought the F and H mounts were the same.

no when skinny boy upgraded his from f22 we noticed the mounts were slightly off when putting the h22 in

When changing the injectors do just need the injector itself or do i need the wiring and fuel rail as well?

That was an Auto vs Manual gearbox variation. Not an F Vs H issue.

Just the VTEC injectors only, rail & wiring are the same.
