How many new members?

Seems like our FB page has been really active of late and wondering if someone can update me with some numbers on how many new members we have had over the last 3-6 months and if we have seen an increase?

Has the number of posts/threads been on the up too?

There's been quite a lull, and just recently some activity has come about.
I've been on Fb a lot, but not at all on PA.

Many other car clubs have shifted from Forums to Fb and the Fourms are being used as resources of information.

Good feedback Terry and good question Snowy.
The FB add requests have been steady, getting ~2-3 per day.
Haven't kept up with the new member adds on here as it's basically automated. But the interest here is a far cry from years gone by.
The main objective for the site is as Terry states. To stay as a reference. Having said that, there is a cost to maintain the site. Current funds will see it maintained for about the next 4 years. At that point there may be some better way of making the data accessible. Will see how this plays out and largely depends on how much it is being utilized.

As Terry said seems as though there has been a massive spike in FB activity which is gret, and especially PAVIC events and meets which is pleasing.

Users are still aware of the forum it seems, and for sale and various others features as you say Bob makes this still a very useful and relevant platform.

To ensure we do have funds moving forward are things like stickers, clothing etc etc now more relevant to make a profit for the club to ensure we can keep the site alive and have funds for the future?

Whilst membership may not be an option I think other avenues might might to be explored - even if we push these directly through FB as a platform, especially now since interest seems high and to be on the increase it may be an avenue to get our funding up.

Facebook for all the rest,i come on here to getaway from it tbh,seriously i get on owners clubs to getaway from all the distractions.
@15 years on car forums and i hope Fb is not the way forward for our car culture,not mine anyhow,long live the forum!

All good reasons for us to continue to support the forum and look at ways to make it financially viable through thing like clothing, stickers etc.

in due time however due to the lack of activity on the forums..the cost of keeping forums up will not be justifyable..

The info and community on forums is honestly unbeatable.

There are too many people that just make the FB pages a load of rubbish in all honesty.

Social media has provided an opportunity to get to know people.
