    Clean Prelude ...

*edit: I will try sometime in the next week or so to take some really good quality high res pictures with a proper camera to better show the car.

    Heya P.A,

Haven't been active here for many many months but I have still been churning away adding modifications to my car (purchased Sept2011) every now and then when money allows.

I'm now at a point where I'm very happy with the 'clean' look. Here are a list of the mods (in no particular order), and some before and after pics: (i should have applied some tyre shine before taking the pictures)

Before's & After's: *edit: not sure why the first picture is particularly small compared to the others ...

Hey man, that's a super clean look! Have you thought about doing the coloured gauge rings on the speedo? It would look great, I did it on my Lude. Check it out on my thread..

You should be really proud of that.
I presume you get quite a few nods!

Thanks mate, I had a look at your build, your gauges look great, matches your scheme so well, I will definitely have to look into adding that to my car! I think some nice orange or clean white ones would suit great on mine.

Hey thanks Terry, I certainly am and your right indeed, once I got the lipkit but especially with the wheels installed I definitely started pulling attention on the road!

Yeah I reckon white would look really good as it'll stand out well with your interior, but hey it's your car man!
By the way, where did you get your foggies from man? I've been looking on eBay and they're always like overseas and are expensive as unless I've been looking at the wrong place lol.

Ah I picked them up from ebay about 2 years back, not sure how many items of that type of for sale nowadays. I managed to grab a bundle with the fog lights + clear housing indicator lights, cost me around $150 inc. postage. So it's not cheap but it's not that bad, and then I just picked up a phillips $80 HID kit from a local store. Trouble is that nowadays there isn't much selection when looking for prelude parts, it's all so rare haha!

Ahhh that seems like it was a good deal! I have seen a pair of fog lights but I just need to contact them so I can try to get my hands on them ASAP! Yeah man haha, the Prelude parts are pretty rare, so that's why if i decide to sell my auto lude for a manual one, I'm taking the stuff out so I can just swap it over ahah!

Okay i've uploaded a much bigger picture to my original post, still not super high res but alot better than any of my previous shots. Now you can get a decent look from a proper angle!

If you ever get the chance, I highly recommend the manual version, sports mode in the auto isn't actually that bad in the lude but nothing beats a good manual gear shift, especially with a short shifter!

Yeah for sure man, I don't use sportshift in my lude anyway! I just drive it around normally babying it haha, I'm just waiting till I get my Green P's then BAM! I'll either be converting mine if I can't find another clean white Lude and if I do then you know what's gonna happen..!
