    Honda need it, the rest of their line up in Aus is nowhere, and now with the stink over the 4WD on the CRV being found to not function properly i think they need some positive news!

    Your as young as your car makes you feel,or maybe it's as your woman makes you feel or both!

    Hahaaa, my history of chick magnets (making me feel young) always had two qualities...
    * low
    * sleek
    So out of 30 odd cars over 45 yrs, there have only been 2 cars that have consistently caused girls to give my car a second look.
    1) Alfetta GTV
    2) Honda Prelude - 4th gen
    Lol

    Another 10 years Terry hopefully the 4th gen can take the lead there.
    Alfetta Gtv is ultra rare whilst the Prelude just very pleasing on the eye,so easy to be drawn in to both.
    What colour were both of the cars by the way?
    I might be in luck with a White one this time

    Lolz, my brother had a white Alfetta GTV back in the day too. I think it was the 4cyl 1.8L but had the body kit off a GTV6, I might have to ask him about that. Boy was it a head turner. He always had mechanical issues with it though, the twin carbs were a real pain to tune and it was forever breaking down. He ended up selling it for something more reliable. I always liked how the gearbox and diff were in the back so the driveshaft would spin at engine RPM. Being probably 10-11 at the time I don't think I had the appreciation for it I should have.

    The look of the 4G is just so unique, but I find people either love it or hate it. The car culture down here (or lack thereof) just doesn't appreciate the sweet mid-90s JDM look though, a falcon ute turns more heads than I ever did in the 'lude.

    I don't mind the look of the new Jazz either, but have they gotten any better in performance? The wife and I test drove a couple of the early ('07-'08 I think) GLi model ones when she wanted a new daily and we were both pretty underwhelmed with the driving experience. I know they're not meant to be a sports car but there was just no feel to it, there was nothing to make you like driving it. I didn't have the opportunity to jump in a VTi-S but I bet that'd be a totally different story. The Jazz really does hold it's value well too. Good for Honda though, the cheap car market has been dominated by Korea for too long. Hopefully if they're making their bread-and-butter off the cheap cars they'll start putting more effort back into the sports classes.

    My '79 Alfetta GTV was *cough, Blue
    My fiancee (soon to become wifie) chose the colour.
    I said, "Are you sure you wouldn't want white, 'er cream, 'er black; maybe even green?"

    I had the car treated with "Endrust" on the very first day > "Red Light" Car Alarm on day 2.

    Yes it came with a 50/50 fornt to rear weight distibution which made it corner better than the Lancia Beta.

    Problems over just 2.5 yrs included...
    * 3x sets of rubber universal joints blown
    * alternator
    * exhaust manifold coming away from the block
    * air cond hoses splitting

    So much fun!

    Big trouble selling a Blue Alfa. Everyone wanted Red or Black.
    The guy who bought it was so pleased that there was no rust - Lol

    Love it Terry,not the best put together cars back then but sounds like the fun alot of us 3rd and 4th gen owners have with our 20+year old coupes!
    But it's the grin it brings when that problem is solved or disconnected till later haha.
    Blue would have been a *specific* choice back then i'd say..
