    Cool Bathurst 1000

As a Ford V8 driver, I'm just going to leave this here.......

A completed modified car is an ever changing goal that can never truly be achieved.

Ford drivers can gloat for a couple of years yet

Nissan and Volvo fans are getting there.
Mercs like the upside down position!
Alfa guys - nowhere in sight!

That was an incredible race. Actually sat and watched most of it, with young Ryan glued to the screen giving the commentary.
Really could have been anyones race on the day.

Followed up by Dad and son watching the F1 together as well.

    Great times.

Douche manoeuvre of the day goes to Lowndes pushing Winterbottom out of the podium, I guess Redbull aren't above team orders in any class.

Those last dozen laps or so certainly made for some good entertainment. I really thought Mostert was going to run it out of tyres the way he was sliding around the track, he really was giving it everything it had. Goes to show just how much tactics and luck play a role in such a long event.

They should throw the old Honda HSV-010 in next year to spice it up, it's a V8

At the end of the day I love a good race regardless of what car make wins. Great race although the track was a bit iffy.
