2014 Formula 1 Grand Prix Du Canada

Two weeks always feels like an eternity between races but the circus reaches Canada this week for one of my favourite tracks of the year.

Renault seem confident they have started making progress against mercedes in the engine department, Ferrari also saying they are confident of taking a step up as well but can anyone actually take the fight to the Mercedes?

Personally i doubt it, Monaco was going to be the best shot for anyone and even Ricciardo couldn't manage it, now there are some long straights and medium speed corners there will be pleanty of opportunities for the Mercedes to pull away.

Anyway i'll be watching it and fingers crossed on McLaren stopping sucking so much arse.

    Forecast:
    Friday: Rain
    Sat: Clear
    Sun: Clear

When questioned about how many points Seb thought he could take from this next GP he replied:

    Go Danny!

I'm awake in front of the TV for the race! Sorry for going MIA on this race guys but the reasons will become clear shortly.

Rosberg out qualified Hamilton followed by Vettel and Alonso out qualified Raikkonen. Ricciardo had some struggles and took 6th and McLaren's shouldn't have bothered turning up.

Williams should be on for good pace, this circuit is really playing to their strengths so see what they can do. Red Bull are running more downforce so lower top speed but maybe better tyre conservation.

    Let's go racing!!

What more could you ask for in a race? Safety car, multiple crashes, mechanical dramas, pit and tyre strategy and Ricciardo taking the win!

So glad I got up at 3:30 this morning to see it, off to work shortly so just have to struggle through that then rest again hahaha
