    GC coilover question

    As title I got a pair of front GC coilovers just need to know are they very stiff springs and will they suitable for street driving?

    The Eibach springs are numbered by length, internal diameter and spring rate. i.e in this case GC200.64.58 means these ones would be 200mm x 64mm with a spring rate of 5.8kg/mm which sounds about right. Your rears will probably have a lower spring rate, I think the 5.8's are usually coupled with a 4.4 in Preludes. 5.8kg/mm is not a very hard spring though. Coupled with a decent shock (can't tell from the pic) these should be spot on for street use. If the damper is adjustable then changing the settings will alter the stiffness a lot too.

    Nice purchase too, the GC's are a great kit.

    Just wonder anyone has any info on eibach 4008.001 and 4008.002 springs?
