    footwell neon question

does anyone know why the interior LED tutorial by -dB- not work for me when i click the link on one of the old threads? preludeaustralia.com/forum/tutorials.php?do=view&tutid=30

says insufficient privilege or admin may have disabled account. i dont even know there was a tutorial section in the forum.

anyways, i bought interior LEDs from eBay and as normal, it has a negative and a positive wire.

i was thinking of splicing the 12V ciggy wire to the 15 amp fuse that connects to the switch, the other end of the switch to the LEDs, but where do i connect the negative wire from the LEDs? should i just connect it to the black(ground) wire or to a ground point, like a screw, same as the one in the guide i used.
p.s. im thinking of installing 4 separate LEDs for both sides, 2 mounted under the dahs and 2 mounted probably near the bottom edge of the back seat, is it safe to splice 4 negative wires to the ground wire or should i do something else?
(sorry I'm not good with wiring at all)

Hook them up to the dome light in the roof for the lights to turn on and off and will fade out when the dome light fades out

I have done it myself, took me less then an hour.

    Very easy!

I hooked my under car ones and foot well ones to individual switches so i could turn them on and off whenever i wanted. Took me a couple of hours to do the whole install including cutting holes in the plastic for the switches. Really easy, but hooking up to dome light is a great idea too.

yeah i wanted to be able to turn them on and off when i needed them so i decided to put a switch for em, was just wondering if the layout of wiring i thought of was correct:
12v from ciggy wire -> 15A fuse -> switch -> leds -> black ground wire? is this correct? and can i use the ground wire for the 4 LEDs i'm going to install (meaning can i splice the ground wire 4 times for the 4 negatives the 4 LEDs will have?) thanks.
