    I think the compartment is just screwed into the frame that holds the headunit in. It's just a case of unscrewing the compartment and slipping the double din in.

    The only thing wrong with this, Terry, is that you didn't end with a "/thread"
    That sounds like the go, defininitely good specs by the looks of it!



    In relation to the harness, depending on how butchered your current one is, you may just need to match the wires. If it has the stock plug, that'd be great and you could just pick up an adapter
