    Spacelude update thread ;)

As you probably know, I always have little project to my lude. This year holiday season is no exception. I decide to give her a new dress look. Painting her with original Frost White and coat her with White Pearl ))

There is a period where I have to stop the painting and went to GoaldCoast for family holiday... enough talk.... pics following
    0) buy equipments and material (compressor, spray gun, hoses, paints, thinner, sand papers, etc.) ~ $1000

    1) Prepare the car: sanding and filler and sanding again for all chipping and knock, etc.

    2) taking of bumpers, mirrors, boot lits, etc..

    3) washing and drying
    4) masking tape prepare for painting onto trims, bootlits and custom paint rear bumper in black
    5) re-masking the whole car ready for painting

    6) Paint base color white (3 coats), White Pearl (2 coats)
    7) Paint 4 clear coats
    8) have a spare center garnish, don't know what to do, so paint it toooo, see if it works, if not, put the other back in

    9) Wait for dry

    10) Take of masking tape and papers

    11) Sanding 1200, 1500 and 2000. Careful in every move, don't want to cut into the paint. This step literally take 100 hours. Hand work, no machine, thinning my skin due to sand paper rubbing, blooddddddd

    12) Buff with machine.... it did looks good...

    13) But I wanted more, apply squirl remover and then car polisher....

    14) sand and polish lights covers, etc. like new with Plast-X

    14) put things back one by one - have some spare screws and nuts....after ward
    13) wash and photo time

    14) bonus painting valve cover with "WHITE" honda ))

    15) final touch with "RED" Honda )))))))))))))))))

Altogether took 1 and 1/2 months off the road... I have to drive wifey car to work in the mean time...First driving this week... I know I missed my lude so much

Personal Reflection - This is my first painting job ever, and never do it again ))) It took so much time and made so many mistakes, Pearl painting is pain in the assssss... BUT, this White pear turns out good... better than I expected... I now enjoy riding my lude more than ever before.......

I now forcus on the look and feel. Will update as i make progress
Early on, I put adjust cam gear back to 0,0. Removed SAFC, now CAI also removed.
Once I bore with the look and feel. I put all performance stuff back. I know I got ~10kw at my disposal.

@itsmee, lol. You might be right. I spent soo much time and effort in this paint job, plus painting pearl seems like I paint two cars. Final sanding for perfect finish is literally 3 times of everything. I only do this because I like our lude.
