Atleast 1 Unit/Fusion sticker.
and the cannon must be attached to the stock exhaust.
im sowwybut actually. what constitutes prelude of the month. like who is more worthy out of someone with an immaculate stock prelude vs something extreamly modified. eatch is great in its own right but both take very different skils and both are worth but only one gets chosen. but if we do take into acount all the different reasons for making one prelude of the month i gess we could have afue to get us though a good fue months. but when it comes down to it it means we need 1 new member with a prelude thats alittle different that contributes to pic. and i dont think we get the new numbers for that.

This is why I think nominating members is such a good idea. The each nominator will have their own reasons that they think another member deserves recognition.
As a relatively new member, I know that the inactivity on this forum at times drives other new members away. If the forum is active, they will come.
I think the way to determine between the stock and modified, is to run them against each other in a vote. But this would require members consistently being active and voting every month, which could seem like a chore for some. And maybe introduce that a car cannot win POTM more than once in a calendar year.
But as Kozzy said this could require a dedicated mod, and dedicated indeed, they would need to be.
Except for the small issue of there being very few mint condition stock cars on the site yes hahaha. Seriously, accept that the Prelude is a cheap car purchased by P platers who have not much money to buy anything better, its not a cult car, its not a rare car, the H22 was a good engine but that's about it. If the Prelude was so amazing why does almost everyone on the site move on from it? I've been to meets where there have been more non Honda's than Preludes turn up. Its a fun first car to learn to drive in and enough power in the vtec to enjoy some twisty roads but that is about it.
COTM is dead, let it rest in peace. Why not focus on getting meets and cruises happening for people to actually go to to show their cars off. We have a showroom thread for people to display their cars in if they want to. If the fact its always the same car on the front page bothers you why don't we just get rid of it or cycle through the old winners or replace it with photos from the garage? Better than restarting something that will just fall in a heap in 4 months time when we have 3 cars to vote for that are all unremarkable examples.

how about prelude of the year
"You don't feel the speed, in a way. You just don't feel the speed. The car is so stable and so comfortable.. unless you look at the speed gauge you don't realise you're going that fast. This is a good compromise between the sporting side and the comfort side. As I said, I think it is a super, super car." - Ayrton Senna
To be honest, as cool as the idea of CotM sounds, it will never work with a forum this small. PreludePower is massive, hence why it works there.
Plus. Ian's car is a thing of beauty and inspiration for most 3g owners, and I sure as hell don't mind looking at it every time I log on
Grip > Slip.
1989 Honda Prelude SI.4WS, Pheonix Red - SSV-135 / PR3LDE - Rust in Peace.
1989 Honda Prelude SI.4WS, Polar White - PR3LDE - Rust in Peace.
1987 Honda Prelude JDM SI.4WS - Granada Black - Work in progress.
2002 Mitsubishi Lancer CE Coupe - Amethyst Black Pearl - Daily.
Site requirements could be reduced to virtually zero though. All it really needs is a COTM section and a thread opened.
No real need to have it on the first page.
In fact the latest COTM thread could be automatically posted to the first page just as the announcements are currently done. Easy.
Going to be a mod again Bob?
