Do Police Pick on Your Car??

It seems to be if you have a nice looking car, thats a little out of the ordinary or isn't
like the same old boring bubble boxes that are on the roads, your an immediate target! lol
It's frustrating when everything's sweet with your ride and there are hundreds of maniacs they sould be pulling over instead.

Am i the only one ? Grr lol why??

Soon as i lost he P plates no more police interest at all. When i had my 4th gen with wwrs lips and matte silver 17s and green Ps i got a little bit of police attention but i generally avoided driving like a dick so never had any real problems, just the occasional random license check. Not even had a sideways look from police in either white 3rd gen, IS200 or the S2K.

Police arnt trying to dick you for legal modifications. If you car is all sweet then greet them with a smile, be polite and you'll find you have much better experiences than if you get upset for being pulled over. Your attitude will have more to do with the end result than your cars mods.

Only RBTs, probably because I was a P Plater, but the most they've ever done is check tyres and rego stickers.
Everything buffs out with the right amount of elbow grease

I'll be glad when i'm done with them. Few more months and i'll be on my opens. I could never be rude...it's just annoyin i guess lol Maybe they do pay more attention to the P plate more than the car.
Hopefully word will get around when they see iv done nothing wrong??

Only ever been pulled over early early during the morning or late late during the night, Police have followed me for kilometres on end I'm sure trying to find something. When I do get pulled over though it's short and sweet, have been harassed by two undercover motorcycle coppers though, they inspected my whole car and all this jazz when I had JUST bought the car. Oddly enough since I got my personalised plates it has changed, very rarely do I get pulled over now. Green P plates.

Couple of times when the car was low, but only at RBT's now and on occasion.

Please tell me your plate isn't actually r4c3y4? if so, doesn't surprise me....

    Also Green P's.

I have only felt like I was targeted once by the police when I was driving along in my old 4th gen and they were at an intersection indicating to turn the other was, then when I drove past changed directions and followed me then pulled me over.

Another time I had just been out to the pub for dinner with my parents at the pub and when I left the pub and drove off the police pulled me over for a breatho but that is fair enough.

Both these happened on my P's.

Earlier this year I was driving along the highway minding my own business when the highway patrol did a U-turn and come up behind me. They put their lights on and I started to pull over and then they suddenly decided to do another U-turn and go back the other way. It was quite odd. They even started to pull over with me so they had intended on pulling me over, someone must have driven past in the other direction in a commodore with P plates or something

If you don't turn around to look at your car as you are walking away, you have the wrong car

My ludes have never attracted attention from the cops, think ive only ever been randomly pulled up 3 times in 7 years, and they were for legit reasons. Most attention I ever had was in a busted ass Barina, cops hated that thing!

if you drive like a moron, and get your car known to police, then you are bringing it on yourself. I have not had issues with the police.
