Wait around long enough and you will pick up a turbo 3g for around 4-5k.
They come up from time to time, but there's nothing like building one yourself.

As said. It's certainly good to see so many cars getting some decent work done on them.

then getting the build bottom end would be money well spent and much cheaper then buying everything and having to pay someone to build it for you , ive had the same one in for years and never had a issue of pulling the key , getting out , locking the lude and walking away to only here it shut down . my timer is only set to 20sec ,

I suggest buying another engine getting all the turbo set up on that and dropping the engine in when your done, doing a turbo build on a daily is Impossible, It'll take months of research and alot of days under the hood to get everything done right

You want to make a turbo manifold, but don't have the knowhow to pull an engine?
Don't mean to sound like a dick, but... I worry for your build.

you dont have to pull the engine , Thelen has a near complete forged engine . all you would have to do is get the manifold made and should be a easy swap . id be getting the engine from him , sit it on a stand and clean it up make your manifold and do everything that needs to be done and when ready do the swap .

Yep. Mine has spent considerable time off the road. I attempted to keep it a daily, but at the end of the day needed to get another car for transport. Issue now is, I have 2 project cars.

LOL its a turbo dude, its not like your chucking on a CAI. Unless you use a engine to mount everything on and suss stuff out, it's not going to work right.
And if all you want is a 'little more go', Cam shafts, cam gears, extractors, CAI, and you'll be well on your way
