Tommy i believe you've misinterpreted me. Extended wattage bulbs would melt things.

Hx represents a standardised bulb connection/dimensions, and don't usually come with wattage increases (Don't quote me on that bit)

and just to clarify things further what exactly did u buy? halogen "xenon look" bulbs or actual HIDs?

    1. Low beams, which are the second turn/click after your parker lights, which are the first turn/click.
    2. High beams, which you can only use when there are no other cars infront of you, as you see from the name, the light from these additional globes shine higher then your low beams for additional light when it is dark.
    3. Parker lights. These were not circled. These little globes are the first click/turn.

This does not make any sense. I showed my gf this as well, she knows nothing about cars, and she also said you made no sense. What are you asking? If you can use your lights at night?????

Gee, standard headlights use H1, not H3
Ye I just want to do a replacement. Ok so number 1 is the one I replace. Thanks Renzo Yes that's what I meant. Can I use at night.......Alright great. For a second I thought I bought the wrong type of lights.

Yes I did. My mistake. Well they're definitely NOT HIDs. Theres a link in my first post. I'm pretty sure they're xenon light bulbs. Can anyone confirm?

xenon refers to a gas discharge lamp, i.e. HID

your 'xenon' bulbs are supposed to look like HID's (that white look)

HIDs come with a Ballist, which assuming that the ones only came with a single globe, means that they are not HIDs. xenon light globes are no different from halogen globes, just different compisition of what they are made of.

Just use normal globes in your car as they are fine, other wise Honda wouldnt of been allowed to produce a car that has shit lighting for night driving.

are you asking if you're liekly to get a canary?
are you asking if they're effective? probably not as good as stock

How come they won't be good as stock? They're newer so I thought they would be better. And yes I did want to know whether they were roadworthy or not

as always brah, terminology is critical, make sure you ask the right questions or you won't get what you want, this being a classic example

they won't be as good cos the natural colour of halogen globes is the stock colour.

each light has an output spectrum of all the colours (roy.g.biv). each colour adds to each other and forms a white when u mix them all togeether, just that the normal halogens tend to have more yellows than blue making them appear that warm white colour

when you have the blue filter over it yo're cutting out the yellow bits so you get less light overall. sothe only way to get brighter is to pump additional power into it (extended wattage) which makes thinigs hotter, or use HID's instead of halogens

but anyway, they'll be fine. I'm running similar bulbs too.

Yes. I need to work on my terminology *sigh*

Alright thats all I needed to know. So long as they still function relatively the same in terms of brightness and quality than I'm happy, but will find out the exact results when installed and tested at night.
