Installing H1 Xenon Headlight Bulbs - 5th Gen Lude

I've just bought some cheao globes on eBay. I hope they're not too cheap.

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/H1-55W-XE...item1e7049d1f6

And am looking to install them myself. But I'm not to sure which cable I unplug and install the lights. Here is my dilemma. So the picuture is the back of my headlight and I want to know do I unplug wire #1 or #2 as labelled below:

I hope the image is clear enough. Also if you guys don't mind telling me whats behind each plug/rubber gasket thing, that would be great

Look at your headlight and work out where the low beam comes from.

1 is high. 2 is low. 3 is parker lights. just take your rubber things off, undo the little wire clip and take all the globes out. then turn on your low beams. see which one it is, then put the others back.

Ok. So I check out which one is the low beam and then replace it with the H1 globe? Can I also use it when I drive at night normally?

May I ask why you bought H1's and not H3's?

It's not hard dude, just turn your headlights on like you would while you're driving at night time (or in the case of some of us with CCFL angel eyes, at day time LOL) and see which socket as the low beam, pull it out and replace.

This does not make sense, I don't see what you are getting at... Are you wanting to change your globe over to a new globe as a replacement? Or did you get new headlights or fog lights... The lights you have circled are:
    1. Low beams, which are the second turn/click after your parker lights, which are the first turn/click.
    2. High beams, which you can only use when there are no other cars infront of you, as you see from the name, the light from these additional globes shine higher then your low beams for additional light when it is dark.
    3. Parker lights. These were not circled. These little globes are the first click/turn.

This does not make any sense. I showed my gf this as well, she knows nothing about cars, and she also said you made no sense. What are you asking? If you can use your lights at night?????

Gee, standard headlights use H1, not H3
