2012 Formula 1 Grand Prix De Monaco

Well somehow it's that time of the year already, Monaco is almost here!!! With a tight street circut that would not be approved by the FIA if it were to be put forward for selection now having never been used for F1 racing before, this is one of the most exciting races of the F1 calender!! In a season that has given us 5 different winners from 5 different teams in the first 5 races things are sure to be entertaing as McLaren, Red Bull and Ferrari all try to establish a dominance at the top while the mid-range teams like Lotus, Sauber and even Williams maybe try to show they have what it takes to contend with the factory teams.

I'm going for a 6th different winner from 6 races and putting it out there for Kimi Raikonnen to take this one. He's been peppering the podium, he's ready to take the top step

Also not Monaco related but Ferrari related. It seems the only reason Massa hasn't been kicked out of the Ferrari already is there is no driver to replace him yet. Safe to say Massa will be gone at the end of this season if not before unless he starts rapidly improving but it seems unlikely.

I'd love to see Kimi win. He's the closest thing I've had to a favourite F1 driver since Senna was killed.

Really looking forward to Monaco; my favourite of the year (other than Monza of course!)

My best mate and i watch every race of the season to the extreme that while on holiday in Seoul we got up at 4am in the morning to watch the Valencia Grand Prix in our hotel room last year. His house warming is on Sunday and he's been told in no uncertain terms that he must show is face at the house warming before he leaves to watch the GP. I hope my GF is as understanding of my F1 needs as my mate's wife hahaha.

P1 has just come to an end with 8 minutes to go red flags shown. The Caterham of Kovalainen blew it's engine in the tunnel causing the suspension of the session. Raikkonen had brake issues and the team elected to change the front suspension at the same time. Button complained of poor seating position and Massa almost hit a wall, throwing up sparks. I think those are the main highlights.

Reading an analysis of Monaco so far it seems that all the teams have learned little so far apart from there seem to be a lot of quick cars and Grosjean seems to be the most consistent. If today's P3 is dry and the teams can do long runs expect some big jumps in performance today but if it's wet then tomorrow could be anyone's race.

Lewis is a pretty boy. He has the extra hunger to win in front of the pretty girls who are close enough on that circuit to throw their panties at him

Best Shape Award = 4th Gen Prelude + Best Bang For Your Buck Award = R34 GT-R N1
