EK civic, clear side indicator on 3 gen

    Things you will need
EK Civic clear side indicators and EK side indicators

    Phillips head screwdriver

    Wire cutters

    Solder iron

    And a dremel

First, you will have to get the stock indicator. To do this you will have to unscrew the 3 bottom screws in the wheel arch.

Next, put your hand in the guard and pop out the indicator and take the indicator of like this

Next, put the EK indicator up to the hole and look at how much needs to be cut out. Its about 13mm. Make a small scratch with the screwdriver. Use the dremel with a cutting disc and just cut a little be in to make out where to cut

Next, Ones you have got the EK indicator to fit and are happy, use a sand tool on the dremel to get rid of all the rough edges. Then use the the wire cutters and cut the old indicator plug of and strip the wires with the wire cutters

Then the same with the EK Civic plugs

Next, Twist the wires together, Black with black and green with green

Next, Solder the wires together and put electrical tape over the exposed wire

Now put the indicator back in and put the 3 screws back in and you are done

Hope you like my first write up and hope to see some people try it

If I remember right u don't need to unscrew bolts in the wheel arch, they can be pop out with flat head screw driver, nice write up though.

Strange, my S2 3rd gen didn't need any cutting to get the EG indicators to fit. just straight swap.

Pretty sure u could have used 4th gen ones there that shape aswell. Cant remember but think the 3rd gen connector plugs straight into it.
