    Front Bar replaced with a Nismo Z-Tune type. Clear indicator lenses (rather than smoke)

    Stance is better; but so too is the suspension > Nismo S-Tune Suspension yesterday.

    Side Skirts, Front Splitter and Rear Pods painted Satin Black like the LMGT4 Rims

    Nice touches of red inside...

    Thanks again for your comments above

    Welcome to PA family. We're the friendliest car club in Oz! (O-H is the unfriendliest lol).
    Ok, I'll swap with your 1st born after the nightmares of teething, potty training, training wheels off, skateboard fractures, alcohol experimentation, P1-2 licence is over with! Haha

    Wouldn't that be classed as people trafficking?

    This will sound like a n00b question, but what is the difference between the N1 and a normal GTR? They certainly command a premium price over their un-acronymed brethren!

    Will z-tune guards be joining the front bar on the beast Terry?

    No Forbes, it'll stay as is.
    I think too much copying simply flatters what you're copying too much eh?
    This bar looks much more aggressive than the OEM bar.

    Yes you're right that the rarity pushes up the value each year. I only need to supply auction sales or private treaty sales proof to get the sum insured figure upgraded.

    Differences?
    There are a few - and some not well known - so good Q...
    * Horn is louder
    * Glass is thinner
    * No Air/cond
    * No CD/Radio
    * No speakers
    * Rear fog light replaced by an extra Reversing light
    * Less soundproofing
    * No rear wiper motor or arm
    * No door lights
    * No cosmetic mirror in the visor
    * Handbrake leather cover replaced by plastic
    * Leather console lid replaced by plastic
    * Thinner paint ie about 88 microns thick. (My black one was about 130 microns and the blue one was about 320 microns)
    * N1 Block with larger channels for cooling
    * N1 turbos
    * N1 oil pump
    * N1 water pump
    * Semi forged pistons and conrods
    * Balanced crank

    Clutch, brakes, fuel pump, gaskets, upholstery are all the same.

    My putting on a titanium strut brace has saved an extra 1.4Kg. Paying more for less LOL

    Insured value in Oz is now well over $105,000 and catching up to the R35 within the first half of this year according to Auction figures in Japan.

    With only 18 in private hands i'd be doing as little as possible to the car. Having said that i like what you have done with it, simple stuff that can be reversed but also simple stuff that enhances the look of the car without detracting from it at all. Z-tune fenders are too over played now and look cheap IMO unless you have the full Z-tune kit. With a car like this and i'd argue any car, why try and make it look like something it isn't. In the case of this car it's already got more then enough presence and reverence with it's own name without having to borrow from the Z-tune.
