NICE WORK! wish i knew how to do all this myself unfortunately for me, I've never been a very hands on/practical person, as much as I wish I was, could save myself a bit of money, but i'm slowly learning, and i'm only young
love the work here, can't wait to see it finished you'll all have to attend a PAVIC meet soon enough

Headers are a generic H22 header from the US......a little bit of modding and port matching and they work well.
Looking at making a 2 1/4 inch exhaust with a hotdog in the middle and a nice shotgun muffler at the end of it, pretty much the same as what i've done on my son's car.
His works well and sounds very smooth and race-carish without any droning.

Cool - looking at the a 2.25 or 2.5 myeslf. Going to get it matched up with some hurricane headers, new flex pipe is requried though, right flanges as the stock one doesnt seem to match, and going to go with a high cell cat too... What was the material cost of the last exhaust roughly. Just need to shop around now to get it made. MIght supply the piping mysel if I can find some cheap stainless steel pipe for them to use.

Snow, the cost wasn't much for the last exhaust, probably around $160.
I bought a couple of mandrel bends, used the old flanges cleaned up and enlarged the centres with a dremel and carbide tip.
The hotdog was brand newie I've had laying around for the last 25 years, the rear muffler was $90, the old cat was used and the whole lot I mig welded up in a couple of hours.
That's the great thing there isn't a lot of pipe once you take away the mufflers.
The next I might make in stainless if I can get some cheap mandrel bends

    No new updates yet.
Had the car almost running and now i've stripped it again to almost a bare shell to swap in a JDM interior, wiring loom and anything else that I can put into it.
Also have a few 2 1/2 inch exhaust mandrel bends and will start making a new exhaust for it as well.
Hopefully i'll have the interior all in this weekend and will post some new pics.
