Hyundai to bring the Genesis coupe to Aus

Looks like Hyundai are finally going to bring the Genesis coupe to Australia

300hp V6 or 215hp turbo 4, rear wheel drive, and doesn't look too bad either

300hp V6 rates where on the falcondore scale of RWD power? I am keen to see more Turbo 4 's come out at a competitve price point. Seems like they wont be throwing these away as they hint they arent worried about not selling huge numbers of these.

It really isnt the ugliest car either, kinda reminds me of a Celica or 156 in regards to its body shape. So short of removing that spolier and doing something about the cheap plastic trim at the front it could become a pretty popular buy.

Are you asking how it compares to the 6cyl falcons?
If thats what you are asking, the coupe has about 225 kW, which is higher than both falcon and commodore 6cyl powers of about 200-210.

Cant imagine Hyundai packing this thing with too much weight. This could become a cult car mark my words... All depends on the price point.

If the internals are the same between the 4 and 6 it would be logical to upgrade the 6 and get a manifold to house a turbo. 500hp here we come.

quite like this as well, hyundai are really pushing some good looking cars out, maybe the objective with this will be to push it out before the others like the FT86 and the CRZ in order to steal some market share through the impatient buyers?
Front could do with a little work, as it does make a face very accurately described by The Lude...LOL
but we all know with a sports car like this, there is eventually aftermarket support for kits and what not. would like to see a side on and rear view!
