If I can be honest with you and give you a few tips, that style shot is over-done, but it's hard to get an original shot of a car.

The composure is bad, you can't see enough of the back of the car, you need to move more to your left.

The shadows from the tree have ruined the lighting, the camera is focused on the light bonnet actually the camera is focused on the reflection of the tree in your windscreen so the rest of the car looks flat and dull because of the shadows all over the back and the lack of focus on the bonnet. Your car is a vibrant colourful car and the shadows unfortunately wreck that.

To summarise, bring your car into the light (no shadows on the car), step further to your left and try using the focus to get a different part of the car, try the front quarter panel (May have to use manual focus) and you'll have a good shot.

For something a little more original, get a step ladder and try to get it from above and focus on the A pillar or side mirror.

Look forward to seeing your next attempt!

also the bin in the background kills the pic as well.
    It's Tony!

Speed has never killed anyone, suddenly becoming stationary... That's what gets you.

most of these arn't high res enough either, i was finding it hard to get a good enough quality photo of my 4th gne for the last callender and i was using photos from a professional shoot using high quality cameras, a location picked out for its lighting as well as its background and about 6 different shots to choose from.

    Steve,

How are the photos so far?

Are we trying to get even numbers? Like 4x of each generation? 3rd/4th/5th...

I may get my camera+tripod out this weekend and find a decent place for photos. I went to a car park last year but those places ar too common. Need to find some sort of arts building with nice concrete floors/background.

Adrenalin and I have discussed details at various times regarding the calender, and essentially what Adrenalin is aiming to achieve is to get a good selection of a broad range of different Preludes spanning as many generations as possible. I think if I recall correctly, last calender was predominantly 4th and 5th Gens, so this time around I would actively encourage anybody with a 3rd Gen Prelude who wants to put their photos in, to do so.

As far as I know, there arent many members with 2nd Gen Preludes, and none at all with a 1st Gen Prelude, but hey, if somebody does happen to have one in their posession that belongs to them, why not put those in too.

You have plenty of time still to get your photos in. Adrenalin is closing off entries in November.

Phattzy if you havent entered, I would suggest you buy a camera. If you dont own a camera, buy one as it is no excuse.

And I know un-edited only, but I love how it looks
