    Compliments of mattheweveringham.com
Matthew Everingham and Kory Leung both experts in Automotive Photography are responsible for the following...

    The process is called "Paintlighting"

A composite of several photographs overlaid with light passed over parts of the car to emphasise its main points - texture

They'd be happy to photograph cars for Prelude Australia members in Sydney. It takes about 1 hour per car - done of course at night.

The #1 pic is in the SAU 2011 Calendar.

I like it very much, the emphasis on the buildings textures is what grabs me most (putting you car aside obviously)

    Stunning cars mate.

^ ^ ^ Your comments are much appreciated.
I got quite a bit of feedback from Queenslanders on SAU too.
You guys deserve a lot of down-time breaks after what your state has been through.

This one was taken last night. Again by Matthew Everingham.

Yes - Lightpainting Process, but before touchup.
    * If anyone wishes to know where this was shot, PM me.

    Matthew Everingham once again.

Perhaps PAers would like to engage him? It costed each of us $100 for a whole range of pics in various forms at your request.
The photoshoot time frame was 1 hour approx per car.
Started at 8pm (after meetup at 7) > thru to 1am after 5x cars were done.
    Anyway - just a thought.

Motion shots like these can be taken too, whether by Matthew or Kory.

The shooter lies down on the back of my Forester (for instance) which travels at low speed.

Let me know what you think? Cheers, Terry

    It's Tony!

Speed has never killed anyone, suddenly becoming stationary... That's what gets you.
