King Springs Catalogue says "Excluding VTEC and VTiR" - anyone know why...?

    Hey guys,

I'm looking to buy a set of springs asap as the one's I've fitted give a mad drop, but not one I can live with.
I want to get a set of springs that lower the car but without tucking too much of the tire this time, and Kings come to mind 1st.
However upon going to a store to order a set I get told that the listing is for a 97-01 prelude but does not support VTEC or VTiR preludes...
Such as per this link - http://www.wholesalesuspension.com.a..._catalogue.pdf
    Bottom of page 10.

    Is this a misprint?
How many have bought from Kings, was this ever an issue, and what sort of drop will I be looking at?

    Thanks

    I'd suggest it's an error.
I'm not aware that here is any difference specifically for the Vtec.
The springs should fit and work fine.

    Cheers mate
I think they've got it mixed up with the ATTS model.

I had a similar issue with the 4th gen being told there was no springs for a vtec 4th gen, so i got the 'si' ones and they fitted fine so i assume its wrong.

The only difference on the ATTS is the extra 2 bolts on the strut tops. This has no impact on the springs. I have no idea why they would have written this into the catalog.

Extra bolts is JDM. ATTS has a slightly different front suspension setup. As I understand it, you can use regular springs, but you need matching shocks. If you are running ATTS front shocks, then you would need matching ATTS springs.
