thanks for the help ppl, not to keen on getting a nissan, only one id consider is the 200sx. There nice and all but not very keen. Interesting that not many votes are for the dc2r and more for the dc5r. I though people preferred the older shape to the new one!

That's because the Prelude is faster, handles better and looks like sex on 16's. The DC2R is none of these. I have a video to back it up.

Show me the video and ill believe it, the DC2R is MUCH lighter then the 5th gen and has similar power. And i know beauty is in the eye of the beholder but id much rather a JDM DC2R to any 5th gen. I'll even been generous to the 5th gen with my comparison pics as no one here has one as good as this

    And DC2R

Yeah id take the 2R every single day.

Ahh not to sure about the JDM DC2R, i prefer the lude in that comparison. Ive never liked the JDM lights on the teg. I do like the red type Rs though with the AUDM lights.

What's the difference? Would the SiR be the faster one then a Type R (Just remembering Honda's naming scheme).

No the SiR is less powerful, think of it like the aussie VTiR teg which has 120kw. The DC2 Type R is the track oriented one. Weighs a shade over 1t and has the same power as the vtir prelude (147kw) which weighs about 300kg more. The DC2R also has LSD and upgraded handling over the normal integras iirc

Ahh ok. I thought the DC2R = DC2 SiR/Type R, I assumed they were the same thing. I stand corrected. How do you get your hands on a DC2R?
