    OEM Fog light switch wiring?

Anybody got any idea what the 5 wires coming from the OEM foglight switch do? I can't seem to find any relevant wiring diagrams on the web.

I've an aftermarket fog wiring kit in, which only has 3 wires - live switched, earth and switch illumination, with a crappy little light-up rocker switch.

Any clues as to how to wire up the OEM switch to these 3 wires would be hugely appreciated!

(Gen 4 switch - could be UKDM or JDM, not sure now - had it lying about in the garage for ages).

The oem 4g foglight switch only uses 3 wires (exactly the same as your aftermarket one), I would check for you and tell you the pinouts but i don't have a switch close by. Which switch have you got? 92-93 or 94-96?

Cheers - I have two switches, both from 4th Gen cars but not sure what years (took them out myself at the scrappy). I intend to use them for my front and rear fogs.

One has 3 wires, the other has 5. I snipped the wires rather than just unplugging the switches, so I could patch them into my existing ones.

If you could find the pinouts from the switch that'd be great, though I've no idea why one of them has 5 wires going into it. I'll check the wire colours when it's not dark out in the garage!

BB4 centre console fog light switch

I have just bought my 94 lude and have noticed there are front fog lights but I cannot for the life of me find the switch to in anywhere in the car. I guess my first step is to buy/find the switch and then second step is to find the wiring for this .

I have been searching high and low all over the place to find a front fog light button/switch for my 94 prelude (but with sexblocker centre console) that will fit in to the centre console (there are 4 empty slots there).

Can someone point me in the right direction or have one for sale? also will the bb6 switches fit??

I don't think the 5th gen switches fit. Ebay the switch, shouldn't be too hard to just go for an aftermarket switch. The wiring should all be there you just need to plug in the fog lights and plug in the switch.
