    opinions on carbon fibre sunroof

    hi guys
    seen this around carbon fibre sunroof, is this just vinyl coated or?
    any places that do it (in victoria)?

    There was a group buy of actual CF sunroofs ages ago but theres been no more info about that since, you can use a vinyl wrap too.

    If u want there is one listed on ebay usa that is real. I think its about $300-$400 and our dollar is strong atm.

    There was a group buy a while ago for real CF sunroofs. It was popular mainly because there are a lot of 4th gens around with rusting metal sunroofs.

    I have no issues with mine, still the same as the day I got it. But it's worth noting that my Lude spends most of its time garaged and under a cover as I only drive it on some weekends (I have a separate daily driver). It hasn't worked loose or anything like that and has stayed on tight, even with a few track days run with the roof open.

    hmmm interesting, If my lude doesn't sell its still being converted to the trackday slag, and thats the lighter option than a 5g moonroof. quite affordable too (just saw the one on eBay US).
