    Combined work progress thread :)

Well I thought I'd make this my one and only worklog thread. Seeing as now I own 2 preludes it might get a bit out of hand.

Keep posted this weekend for many many more pics. I've done a lot of work to the yellow car over the past few months that I haven't mentioned or photographed so I'll be adding all that stuff.

As you might be able to tell, the paint on the yellow car isn't finished (thus the flat appearance). I have this weekend booked for colour sanding and buffing. Keep your eyes peeled for many new updates .

As you might also notice, I am now the owner of Saki's old 3g . Driven it properly for the first time today, put $70 of petrol in it and we'll see how it goes. Still getting the hang of a racing clutch . But the flywheel makes the engine feel so different/unique.

So in short, got 2 preludes now. Lot's of work planned. Subscribe and be amused with the progress.

    Lots of love, Lorby

Yay! Have fun Flywheel was my favourite mod, next to the extra power from the ecu... EDIT: by the way, learn to heel-toe properly, and clutch becomes a breeze.

I very much like the way it drives . I'm getting used to the clutch, haha. One thing though, under WOT it feels very restricted/tight. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the damage to the exhaust engine pipe. Will have to experiment .

For example the yellow one which would be in the 80's somewhere for power but feels like it picks up speed a bit faster than this one.

You are a very lucky bloke. Enjoy it.

The diffenences in performance may have something to do with the cams / tuning too.

Here's a couple of pics to keep this thread going until the end of the weekend.

Hurricane header with a Magnaflow 2.25" high flow cat. Custom 2.25" piping. (will get around to changing the heat stuff on the ps line, looks like aluminium foil -_-)

    Guages. Pretty self explanatory.

    More to come in time...

Saki might have some handy if you ask nicely .

Otherwise I'll take some early next week when I'm done with the yellow car. I know that the big metal plate for the stock ecu is out, but beyond that I'd have to take a proper look .

Thanks, because I want to get an idea of how an OBD1 ECU is mounted when I eventually convert to OBD1 and tune it.

Can't wait to see what else you have installed for your new lude ^.^

Ok sweet, yeah I know what to get, Boomslang harness, OBD1 ECU (P28,P0A,P06 - currently have access to those atm) and probably a Hondata S300 chip. Just needed to know how to mount it, because I'm not sure if the mounting brackets on a OBD1 ECU is same as a OBD0 one. Thanks for the quick reply!

Yeah, loving the flywheel . After driving it for a bit, not to worried about the exhaust switch, sounds pretty sweet the way it is (like you said). Just working on the alarm at the moment, the passenger side actuator isn't locking, it unlocks but the alarm isn't sending the locking signal to it. Also want to adjust the clutch a bit lower down .

Someone was nice enough to leave a big chip in the paint and a nice scratch down the side. This is why I ****ing hate dumbarse people. Can't have nice shit without someone else ****ing it up -_-.

Buffed the yellow car to, Paints too thin though, needs to be sprayed again, oh well. First time spraying you learn. I'll try and remember to get some pics this arvo.
