Fitted a set of mugen pedal covers as my rubber ones had worn through (on the burgundy one). Then took the red one for an extended trip home from kafers so the smell of kentucky fried goodness had time to overpower the smell of mold. Leaking sunroof makes me a sad(smelly) panda
Then had to play musical preludes to mow the lawn.

Ha ha no. the police that were driving next to me thought my exhaust was too loud even though I was doing 3,000 revs... lets just say I was a little over but they made me rev to 4,750.. Ah well new exhaust tomorrow!

lol, that sucks... why did they make you rev more though?

later today (it's after midight, so it's technically today ;p ) i have a good clean in mind for my lude... i aven't cleaned it for over a week, and it rained once or twice this week, so it's naturally all dusty cause of the water deposits left by the rain, so, a good clean is in order

Shane, you'd better pray that they don't slap you with an IM240 test when you're at the pits. Sadly the system is so ****ed up that most people opt to part out and sell their cars rather than ever try to meet the impossible standards. As it stands, the IM240 test can fail a brand new unmodified factory car, which gives modified cars little chance to pass.

What I've heard straight from the horses mouth in regards to an IM240 test:

$840 to do the drive cycle test - this does not include any re-tuning, or anything other than them simply driving your car and testing for emissions. Any further test due to initially failing the first test will incur another $840.

You WILL NOT pass if you have an aftermarket hi-flow catalytic converter, unless it is a $900 whichever brand Euro spec 4 cat.

After fitting said cat - best chances of passing are to move it as close to the exhaust headers as possible so it gets hotter and absorbs more engine emissions.

    IM240?

I don't have to go over the pits luckily. The mechanic near me is approved to remove the defect and then to rego my car here I can do it right away as there is now a resemtion for interstate cars to go over the pits. So long as the owner has had the car over a year.
So luckily the check will only cost me $85.50. add on the change of mods and it's under $800 all up. But I wanted the mods changed anyway so it isn't too bad.
