    Club calendar?

Did you guys think of doing a club calendar at all?

Reason I ask is that we pulled our finger out and have a nice one over at Celica Club UK (I had half a dozen ST182s and ST185s before the Lude) ... these are the almost final pages, hosted on photobucket:

    http://s563.photobucket.com/albums/s...ider/calendar/

Three of my cars snuck into May ... GT4s top left (in the Swiss Alps - got a Youtube vid of part of that trip too) and top right (in good old Scottish winter condition), plus the lower middle turquoise one (beside the "slow" sign, aimed at fishing boats entering Fraserburgh harbour, NE Scotland).

<edit>Ah, saw the thread about the Prelude Power one. Our plan at CCUK was to get as many club members' cars on as possible ... hence the big collages on the front and back cover, too.

    Prelude powers calender looks amazing!
I think we would need to enlist some good photographers to get a few more good shots, we have some amazing prelude photo's up but I don't know if we have enough to make a calender.

I would be up for supporting this if the cost/time commitment was within reason...

Well, the CCUK one was done by a member who designs car brochures for a living ... did some recent Honda ones, for a start.

He just got everyone to send him pics of their cars, made up the calendar (January - Gen 1, February - Gen 2, etc, with pages for show cars, track cars and stuff, plus two Decembers with either a couple of girly members dressed as Santa or just various Celicas in the snow for work-safe ), got it OK'd by club management and printed all off his own back.

Cost worked out at 10 (about $18AU) delivered, or 12 overseas. Not bad.

    ^ lame.

The plan is to start a thread like this in about 6 months time, then get photo submissions. Its a bit late for a 2010 one.

I'll take care of a calendar for PA. 2011.

Good to know, Adrenalin. I'll get out and about and get some non-Australian shots when I get a minute! See if I can get the Loch Ness Monster involved, maybe.
