You know i was tossing up between waiting for one, cos i like the idea of what it is, and i like its looks. Or an s2k.
I have to say, after sitting in the crz, i chose the s2k.
I couldnt go from a nice low prelude, to a crz which has such high seats, feels like sitting in a truck in comparison. (although im sure thats just because i dont spend any time in sedans)
Uk version had real cheap carpet too imo
Willprob take one for a test drive when it arrives anyway tho!

    Booyah! Myth confirmed

    From Motor Authority

Following a successful programme launch at Goodwood Festival of Speed 2011, Honda (UK) has joined forces with "MUGEN Euro", to launch a 130+mph sports hybrid CR-Z, boasting Civic Type R performance.

With almost 50 per cent more power than the standard car, this 175 PS1 'pocket rocket' hybrid marks the strengthening of the engineering partnership between Honda (UK) and MUGEN Euro following the limited edition Civic Type R MUGEN in 2010.

MUGEN Euro engineers 'breathed over' the 1.5-litre power unit, retaining the 3-button IMA modes, adding a centrifugal forced air induction system, charge-air cooler and induction system and importantly, a MUGEN Euro-mapped ECU. The result is outstanding power to weight, and increased torque helping to deliver 0-62mph in 6.1 seconds - over 3 seconds quicker than the standard car.

Martin Moll, Head of Honda (UK) marketing said, "MUGEN Euro magic has created a super responsive yet eco-conscious model building on our sporting credentials and giving us the ability to compete in the "hot hatch" marketplace as we move into 2012."

Production development continues at MUGEN Euro, with cars available for test drive through the eight Honda UK MUGEN dealers in spring 2012. Prices have yet to be confirmed, but are expected to be approximately £24,0001.

Lux model does not get a manual box. So typical of AUDM sales.

I saw this the other day.
No glass roof, no sat nav, no awesomeness in the manual.

    What a failure.

Isn't it weird that the Luxury model with all the goodies is not available in manual....??

    Lame!

I'd like to see what the paddle shifters are like to drive with though.

Wow so 0-100 in over 9 seconds. And $40,000?

I suppose it's better looking than a Prius, but who wouldn't wait for the ft-86 instead? Huge fail Honda. YOU USED TO BE COOL.

I took one for a drive yesterday. Demo was an auto. Got to 100km no problem, engine likes to rev up.
Had a hard time focusing on the dash while driving...
Firm ride for a smaller car. Let me rephrase. Not a firm drive, but decently tit body. Really mnice small steering wheel tho

I would still like to drive a manual tho. Apparently engine is a ivtec. But the guy that told me was new.

And lastly, the seat belt was harder to reach than the dc5 pasangers belt.... And thats something special right there
