rego paper says 1110, i got the 1155 from the sales brochure
Edit: 1085 - 1235 according to the service manual (1150 would be the average)

Wait, your serious? Whatever your source is, it is seriously misinformed. I've got 3 registered 3rd gens, a bare option series 1 manual (Tare weight: 1110kg), a bare option series 2 auto (Tare weight: 1130kg), and a full leather/alb option series 2 manual (Tare weight 1110kg). 1060-1340kg = epic fail!
back on topic tho i love the mx6/tx5 such beasts when done up
only thing is parts , there's not many left.
I am going to have to wait to work out my exact criteria a lil further until i work out and do alot more research in the next 18 month just how serious I am about going down the boost route with the 3G or not - because if i dont, another factor with my next project will be getting one boosted at the lowest cost and easiest way when selecting a model...as well as the previous other criteria
I missed this thread so I'll just say galant. Yea some EG in Singapore is faster than a GTR, but I bet there are a bunch of faster Galants out there. Down side is you're far less likely to find a clean n cheap galant than civic, and realistically the EG is a lot easier to source a larger range of mods for. But then, it's slow until you buy the bits.
googled and looks like an earlier model camry/verada - and i somewhat like verada's
But plenty more than $2k right?
it sure would be! Looking at the poll, I have seen many a civic turbo but as for how EASY it is i would need to look into a lil further. Aftermarket bolt-ons are a big yes, and staying with a honda would be good too....
A former 3rd genner from here has just bought a GTX Familia. 1.8T, AWD, lockable diffs from factory. His has 160kW atw and for something that cost him less than $5k (not sure how much less, don't remember) the thing is so sedate when you're driving it normally. Warm it up and open the throttle though and wow.
