Well you can use whatever size you want.
I have an aliuminium PWR heat exchange about 14 X 22 inches.
But I was considering using a much smaller one (about 8 X10 inches) so I couldmount it oposite my oil cooler, where my air cleaner currently is.
    Still toying with ideas...

And something tells me that you wont have freezing problems up there.
If you use distilled water then you will need the very minimum glycol.

If that was on fire I'd save the OMP extinguisher.

That green thing is god aweful. Did they seriously mount an LCD and speakers to the valve cover?
I'm sure its really quick with that F22 and the extra 3 tonnes of fibreglass to carry around.

The frightening thing is, that actually has a similar front bar to my car..... ewwww...!

EDIT: Though, I LOVE his bonnet... I was thinking of doing something almost exactly like that.
except the small vents on the front corners would not be vents, just a single intake on the drivers side above the air cleaner.

On a brighter note... I have an intercooler...!

I had my first real good look at the intercooler this morning...

I am extreemly impressed with the core design. it not only has cooling fins on the air side, but also in the water side.

I saw a water to air being fitted into a Bullet car last week. and it was actually a smaller core size than the intercooler I have now. It was being fitted into a supercharged V8,and all the boys down there were going on about how good it was.

I am going down now to show them mine....

And to get my first look at my turbo manifold.... I'll try to remember to take pics....

Yeah, this is just a first look mockup.
I'm changing the position that the runners go into the collector.
But any progress is progress mate... LOL

Yeah, towards the gear box more, and the outside runners are going to the front two ports of the merge.
We're going to take the outside runners to the rear ports of the colectors and this will bring the runners in more.
It's a work in progress. Time will tell...

After revisiting the drawing board, we're back to basics, and ready to start making the runners again, this time, to the corect ports on the merge collector....
