    Pacman's Progress thread.

Yeah, I know. Most of these pic's have been seen before.

Anyhow, here they come again. With the whole story, Where I got the car etc. where I am now with it, and where I intend to take it.

In the begining there was darkness. (Oops, wrong story)

In the begining there was an aussie mussle fan called Steve. I always loved my cars, But the kind of cars I enjoyed were somewhat different. My only notable build before was a 78 fairmont GXL. 4 bolt main cleveland displacing 389ci. Yup. She went. and hard.

But being a family man I haven't had a toy in a while. Untill one day my father gave me a car to drive, which he'd bought for himself but found to harsh to drive. He told me it was a bit of a goer. and after a week of crusing around in "his" car, I had to agree. It was kinda zippy.

Then I found V-Tec.WOW. After about 8-10 weeks of playing with the power curve. I considered that i'd learned how to drive it. And the rest is history. I own a 300ZX Z31. Actually my son and I have a matching pair. But when my father told me I coud keep her, she became my toy. and here is how she's changed since I got her.

Remember, She's not only a gimme, But my daily driver. So things do move slowly.

This is her when I first got her.

Next came a slight bump to the nose while she was parked in Byron bay one night.
    SON OF A!!!

So whilst she was gettin a nose job, may as well make it a good one. along came the Hiro lip.

WOW! So unbalanced. I'll have to do something about that.
I saw a really wanky clear GT wing. Couldn't get it out of my head. Why fight it. Bought it!

Then along came Mrs clumsy in her busted ass lancer!
Time to fix the rear end the way had always planned. and this is where I am today.

The interior has changed a little. But not really as much as it looks.

I'm not planning much more inside. Maybe a bit of work to the sound system. another amp and one more sub etc.

Cosmeticly all i'm planning now is a pair of side skirts. Black Widows courtsey of scion. (No mate, I havn't forgoten) and I am toying with an idea for vinyls, as a mate of mine can pump them out and apply them for cost.

But as i'm almost finished outside. It's time to turn my attention to under the bonnet. I'm thinking boost. Lots of it and soon. But thinking and doing are wo different things. And I am a man of limited means. so the final leg of this trip will be the longest.

    Comments, advice, critisisms welcome.

Yeah why not. It would go with the rest of your gear and you can change it back if you want.

I'm diggin the red Pac. A matching red top under the hood would be a welcome addition!
I was thinking how much it needed skirts - almost looks like the gateway bridge without them - so it will be awesome if you get them on soon. Looking forward to seeing it at the cruise I must say!
I'd love to know what your plans are for the engine bay, but since I know how much you love your boat I guess I'll just have to be patient!
    Top stuff mate
The path of Honda is beset on all sides by the iniquities of Mazda and the tyranny of Nissan. Blessed is the Honda owner who in the name of handling and performance shepherds his Honda through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his Honda's keeper and the finder of lost kilowatts. And I will strike down upon thee with great acceleration and furious VTEC those who attempt to overtake and destroy my Hondas. And you will know my name is PRELUDE when I lay my VTEC upon thee.

LOL....I already have paint for the rocker cover so it will match the panel work. As for the motor in general. I am planning boost. Nothing too much at first. But then again, I had once upon a time decided on a very modest lip kt and a pair of seat covers. Look what happened there....!!!

And I do hope to have the skirts on and painted for the 7th. Just waiting on or lil mate scion to post now!!! So fingers crossed!!!
