    PreludeTAS' Triumph Daytona 675

My new ibike 2.0! (get it? its a play on the new vegemite)

Picked her up this afternoon. Can't wait to get her out on the road!

Unfortunately only phone camera shots at this stage, but will take some decent ones in the coming days.

Some promo shots as mine are not the best quality:

2009 models come in a choice of:

    Tornado Red

    or

    Jet Black

Unless you're luck enough to find one of the 30 odd Special Editions...

wow that white one is hot! are they all sold out?

to me, i always liked Brightly coloured bikes. Either blue, red, yellow or green. Something that sticks out and say "in ur face." Also because i think its safer on the roads. Its hard to see black bikes. When driving i notice brightly coloured bikes but not so much dark/black bikes...

black is like stealth to me...

The SE's are all sold out as far as I know... you might be lucky to find one somewhere. But most were snapped up even before they hit the showroom floor. 1 was allocated to each dealership around the country as I understand it.

The bright coloured bikes still look good, no doubt about it. Different bikes look better in different colours. For me, this Daytona looks the piece in black. I went on a group ride once with my last blue/white 07 CBR600RR and I was the only non-black bike. I questioned the other guys about having black bikes and if they felt it was unsafe. They responded by saying "cars never see you at the best of times, may as well get a black bike - they look the best!"

I suppose you always ride with your lights on as well.

Yep - I'm living it up, because who knows if I'll ever buy anything like this brand new again

I'm in the official Triumph Rat Pack now how awesome.

Rear tyre is a semi-slick. It's a slick on the sides of the tyre. Very minimal wet weather tread. Let's hope summer is kind!

    Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa's I believe.

Edit: Found this pic... pretty much sums them up

My thoughts too, and will soon have black plastics for my machine.
