one of my favorites. Sticking to a nice theme, its working well. Need to get a rear lip, but otherwise the accord sides flow great with the mugen bar. Whats the next area of focus? Suspention or powaah?

PM me for all your car audio and other miscellaneous installation needs.

It's great to see that you've continued working on the car mate. Last I remember was the COTM feature a while ago, she's changed a bit since then!

You've really built something to be proud of there mate, and I really can't wait to see what you do next.

Thanks mikey, I've been thinking about a rear lip, best I can come up with is accord rear, anyone else have any suggestions? I kinda liked the azect pods, but they seem hard to find.

As to the mats, I cannot for the life of me remember their website. I ordered them at summernats, they're really cool in that you can print anything you like on them as long as you have a decent resolution picture of it.

Next mod is a series of gauges, they're going to be made to come on and sweep around in sequence Ricy I know, but what on my car isn't? After that I think I'll put on a rear sway bar, then I'll be back to being a poor uni student for a while so the mods will have to slow down for a bit.

    Hooray! New toys

I am really really impressed with these, they were nice and cheap from ebay, but they have a full microcontroller inside each one, which means:
the backlight flashes red and orange for an alert
they have a peak hold function
they have a backlight that changes color when you turn the headlights on
and best of all they do a sweep around check when you first turn the car on!
    Hooray!

Unfortunately I'm busy the next two weekends so it'll be a while before they're in.

Great stuff mate! I remember when you found the Mugen bar - it's all looking fantastic. Cassis Red ftw. Any big engine mods planned? Say, h22 or perhaps (sharp intake of breath) turbo the f22?

if you have a spare DIN slot ive seen a way of making a gauge holder to go in there, not very tricky, but looks good in the end
accord rear is an easy way out, but i reckon you should try get some accord mugen sides like what skinny had, they were awesome skirts.
as for rear, ive got some veilside 5th gen rear pods i was gonna cut up back in the day, you could try that. but id keep looking around, find something to suit better.

Actually I have an H23A DOHC and torqueier than an H22 at low revs, thus nicer around town. It's got the I/H/E setup which is quite nice, I do want to get it tuned though. I'm thinking if I have an SAFC that can hold two tunes I can have a nice cruisy one for around town set to the varex exhaust closed, and a balls to the walls peak power one set for when the varex is open. However in just 5 short weeks I'm going to be a uni bum again so I'm not sure that blowing 1.5k on my engine all at once will be within my budget. I'm sticking to the $200 mods for a bit.

Yeah, full mugen kit would be awsem, particularly want the headlight covers though I never hugely liked skinnys accord mugen skirts. I'm on the lookout for some kind of rear pods, might team them up with the middle part of the accord rear too (or juts some random bit of lip plastic) I also kinda want to make some carbon fiber front pods, I've been thinking about it for a bit, cutting up the stock front lip into two pods then covering it with resin and CF, could look cool. What do you think?
