    QUESTION TIME

    What's you're Favourite Mod?

So hard to choose a favouite. Most likely the turbo. Followed very closely by suspension. Or maybe the other way around, i dunno.

If you had your time to redo everything again what would you do or not do?

I'd get different wheels, don't really like the advanti's

How long have you had the prelude for?

Bought in '98 or '99, sold to a family member while i went around the world, bought it back when i got home again, think he'd only put about 500k's on it in that time.

If you could have another Model Prelude - What would it be?

I'd love a 1st gen, but finding one in good enough condition to restore/modify is quite hard. My only other favorite is the 4th gen.

How long did it take you to decide what Mods to do?

New ideas for mods happen on a daily basis, always have a bit of a think about them before i commit to them.

Where did you get your ideas? Where does my inspiration come from?

Kinda inspired by the jap racer look. As well as cars in magazines, car shows, friends. None of my ideas are my ideas.

Did you do majority of the Mods yourself?

Almost everything has been done by me, even the ECU tuning. The only thing i've paid someone else to do was the fabrication of the turbo manifold and exhaust sytem.

What Mods did it have when you bought it?

    Stock OEM

Has it been Dyno'ed? What's the result?

Has been dyno'd, but was just after i'd finished installing the turbo and not much tuning had been done, dyno operator was unable too give it full throttle due to fuel lean out. Result 160.9 fwhp

    Next Mod?

I have a list as long as my arm of mods, you'll just have to wait and see.
Soon i will need a new gearbox, 2nd gear synchro is so worn it takes almost a full second to shift into, highly likely a lsd will be fitted at the same time.

    Future Aspirations for Prelude?

With me paying 13000 for the lude, and the thousands i've poured into it recently, i don't think i'll be selling anytime soon, especially since it's probably only get 3 or 4k if i sold it. Would love to do some track work (other than drag, already do that), something with corners.

How do you find the police are towards your lude? Any stories?

Have only ever been pulled over a few times late night and very early morning, never look at the car only ever check license and breath test. Have heard comments like "Oh, he's got an open license" obviously they were expecting to give a p plater a hard time.

Best ET is a rather disappointing 15.1, but i had a series of bad launches and as stated above in the q&a "2nd gear synchro is so worn it takes almost a full second to shift into" (not making excuses, honestly )
