    Interior:

    Neuspeed short shifter
    Shift light
2x sony XPLOD 15" pentagonal subs
    Pioneer deck
    JL audio speakers and tweeters
    Sony XPLOD amp

    What's you're Favourite Mod?

I really like them all, but if i pick one i would say the coilovers just because it was my first mod, just me, a friend, some tools and no idea what we were doing.

If you had your time to redo everything again what would you do or not do?

Theres nothing I really regret with this car, except for the painted brake calipers. They looked great when I painted them but put nothing on them to protect the paint so it has faded over time.

How long have you had the prelude for?

    About 2 years.

If you could have another Model Prelude - What would it be?

The 3rd gen. When i saved up enough cash for my first car I found a JDM grey import 3rd gen, midnight blue, absolutely immaculate. I paid $100 for a RAC inspection and the next time I called to tell him I wanted to buy it, he had sold the car to someone else. I was gutted and the 3rd gen is "the one that got away" I guess.

I have driven all generations except for a gen 1, and I found the gen 3 to be the most fun to drive in stock form after the gen 5. Its just so go-karty ^.^

How long did it take you to decide what Mods to do?

I always wanted to make the 5th gen a faster, more aggressive looking car. I liked the potential with the masculine edges of the car. It doesent take me long to decide what I want to do, however it does take me a while to find the right parts I want for the car.

I actually began modifying my car straight away with some tanabe coilovers, did not know what I was doing and was amazed when I was driving the car after the install that the wheels didnt fall off or anything. However, my car has been rear ended and vandalised and I sort of got into a "what's the point" kind of mood for a while there, but I'm back and im going to finish the project I started

Where did you get your ideas? Where does my inspiration come from?

I like the look of japanese street racing cars. The dark coloured, purpose built machines with a nice body kit and some nice looking rims. They just look tasteful but serious buisness to me.

I get inspired by people who say you cant do things, I love to give it a go. For example after searching through thread after thread of "koyo radiator does not fit in ATTS models" I bought one and with some improvisation fit it in no problems.

Did you do majority of the Mods yourself?

The only thing I didn't do myself is cut the exhaust down to size to fit the ATTS cat. I find it very rewarding to have a go at car mods, although when things get more serious down the track I will have to get professionals as there are some things I don't want to mess with.

Do you have a name for your lude?

The Lude, I guess. I don't really give it a name though, As pretty as it is, it's still just a car.

What Mods did it have when you bought it?

The car was bone stock when i bought it. Still had the tape deck and everything.

Has it been Dyno'ed? What's the result?

Never dynoe'd. Its hit 180,000kms now so its probably seen better days power wise.

    Next Mod?

Putting the bodykit on will be the next mod, then that's it for exterior mods

    Future Aspirations for Prelude?

Not sure what to do, Turbo? new car/motorbike? I'm changing my mind all the time about this one.

How do you find the police are towards your lude? Any stories?

I get tailgated often by cops at night, as I finish work at 4am so I'm the only one on the freeway. I usually just stick it on cruise control so they get bored and pass me.

Duuude, when did those rims go on?!?! The GReddy front lip and your custom eyelids already gave the car a meanacing look, and those blacked out rims complete the look! Congrats on the win mate, a terriffic first for WA!

Thx guys, and I didn't realise that I was the first WA member to get COTM!

The rims belonged to another member, have only had them on a month or so, They suit the car I'm really hapy with them

No I didn't, but the bodykit is going on soon and its a whole bar and skirt, not a lip kit so cant really do it. Was planning on having the greddy bar painted blue, but having the indented "greddy" part black, sort of like the bonnet.

I've only been to two cruises with this car, one I got rear ended on the way home, one of the younger guys at WA honda was too busy flicking through music and almost side swiped me, It was really, really close, so I decided to give it a rest for a little while at that point.

I've just been busy because i work most weekends and do 8pm - 4am so haven't been on any cruises lately

i like the idea of color coding the greddy lip and having the recessed letters black, would look sweet. look forward to seeing it kitted up!

heheh i have the money but I need the car to get to work everyday, in a bit of a bind :/

This is the back and sides i have collecting dust, I only ever found 2 pictures of cars with this kit, one guy from prelude Australia and the official erebuni website. :S its not a common or popular kit. I had to ship it over from Erebuni in new york, many headaches

Am looking forward to the day its on tho.
