Right down in the corner with all the other wires. Try twisting it around, since it maybe at the back where you can't see it. Should be bunched up on itself behind the tape, just need to pull it out.

Don't remember there being multiple bunches of wires. Should just be a bunch of wires with some tape around it. Just need to twist it if you can't see the orange wire. Then as I said the wire is bunched up on itself (under the tape), so you just need to pull it out. Definitely not the easiest place to reach and you can only really use one hand.

yeah i had a look there didnt help
i found it in the end

if anyone has any issues let me know and ill take a pic of where it was
other than that they are installed and looking awesome (1 of the holes of one of the foglights didnt line up properly but thats a minor thing ill look at later)

also when taking out the panel with the switches dont force it, i did and now it doesnt click back in......gonna have to do something about that but im too sore at the moment (many scrapes and cuts looking for that ****ing wire under the dash)

    anyways thanks all!

That wire can be a pig to find. I was having trouble with it, decided it was time for a beer, then by the time I came back with two stubbies, dad had found it.

    Nice Brash22

Foggies are working perfectly now, and was well worth the trouble (and pain) i went through to get em installed

    Car looks awesome

Now i just have to fix the fog light/sunroof/cruise switch panel in the cabin so it doesnt sit loose

I knew i shouldnt have forced it, oh well ill figure out something

Put my fog lights in today and damn that little orange connector is a b!tch to find. It was hidden behind my alarm system wiring. In the end I got them working. Just had a problem with grounding them.

Do you think we could leave these on all the time when the headlights are on without any probs? They aren't very bright but add that little extra.

DMT wired mine up for me agggges ago (4 years ago) and they are set that they come on auto when turning the lights to the first click (parking lights) and the button pressed.

When the button is not pressed, they do not come on

Well yeah there are two plugs you can use. One provides 12V when the ignition is on (ACC I think) and the other when the lights are on. Ideally I guess they should be wired to only work with parking lights since even low beams can reduce visibility in fog.
