    How it all started

hey guys just wanted to share my prelude journey and how i became such a big fan of this awesome model. first up i got given my first honda by my dad when i finished highschool and that was a 87 Honda Accord. even tho it was an oldie i absolutely loved it and had some great times with it. but then one day i remember seeing a prelude......and what caught my eye was that it looked similar in the way that they both had the pop up lights and the prelude just looked like a sportier accord in a strange way. anyway......from that moment on i always wanted to get a prelude.....and after a couple of mechanical problems with the accord.....i finally gave into temptation and bought my first prelude. the 3rd gen you can see in the thumbnails below was in mint condition when i bought it and had absolutely all the luxuries that came out in that model......the only thing that was missing was a manual transmission. anyway to cut a long story short.....after owning it for a couple of years......i decided to skip on the 4th gen as i thought the 5th gen looked more like the 3rd gen which i had......and moved onto the 5th gen Si......after a few mods here and there (lights/mags/black bonnet/exhaust/intake) i decided to finally make the last step and purchased the white 5th gen in the last pic.........and that is my journey......hope u enjoyed it
    love that lude

    Yep... I liked your story!
You'll always remember your 1st car too eh? With fondness I hope!
It makes a remarkable difference to use the manual trans and know that your control is at the ready. I like the kit too = looks mean.
My 4th Gen is my 2nd Prelude and I've been very happy with both.

i liked the Si but my bro had owned the white VTiR and wanted to get rid of it.....so i decided to sell the Si and scored the VTiR for mates rates. but it's kinda weird coz on some days i actually thought the Si looked better then the VTiR. I guess to me it just looked much cleaner and i think the black mags really suited it. Plus i painted the bonnet black with a shitload of blue pearl through it so from when it came towards you it looked black and then blue as it went past as well as the twin tip which i believe suits the ludes much better then a single. don't think i would have got rid of it if i didn't get mates rates of my bro for the white one coz it was manual and just in perfect condition in and out

Nice cars, White series 2 3rd gen ftw, my favourite combo for the 3rd gen. I like your modifying taste with the 5th gens too, they look great

EDIT: Did you either buy or have your 3rd gen for sale in june 2006?
