    QUESTION TIME

    What's you're Favourite Mod?

Iím going to break the rules and name my favourite 2 mods: The non-slip dash mat and my Mugen replica front lip. Both of these items are fairly rare on 3rd gen ludes around the world, and definitely impossible to see on another car here in Canada.

If you had your time to redo everything again what would you do or not do?

There are a couple mods I did in the past that I wouldnít have done again (all have been removed), but other than that I am happy with everything Iíve done to the car up to this point.

How long have you had the prelude for?

I imported the car in August of 2005, so Iíve had it for 3 and a half years. Feels like longer thoughÖ

If you could have another Model Prelude - What would it be?

The only ones I havenít owned are 1st and 5th gens, so I would definitely choose a 5th gen. They are so sleek and look stunning slammed with a nice lip kit and wheels.

How long did it take you to decide what Mods to do?

Iím fairly impulsive, so when I see something I like that I feel would look good on my car or make it run better/stronger, I go out and do it right away.

Where did you get your ideas? Where does my inspiration come from?

I got most of my ideas from other cars I see on the internet and in person. The difficulty with 3rd generation Preludes is that there are not a ton of aftermarket parts readily available, so custom is the way to go.

Did you do majority of the Mods yourself?

Absolutely, everything except the exhaust work.

Do you have a name for your lude?

Not really, other than LudaÖ but I think that is fairly common among Prelude owners.. lol

What Mods did it have when you bought it?

    None, it was bone stock.

Has it been Dyno'ed? What's the result?

    No.

    Next Mod?

Not really sureÖ there are a few things I would like to do, like a new paint job, a header, re-upholster the leather seats, but who knows!

    Future Aspirations for Prelude?

My ideal situation for my lude would be for me to get a newer vehicle as a daily driver and keep the 3rd gen as a garage queen/weekend cruiser. I would then have a chance to do all the little things that Iíve been meaning to get to that havenít been a major priority.

How do you find the police are towards your lude? Any stories?

Iíve never had a problem with the police. The only time Iíve ever been pulled over was a week after I got the car because I only had a temporary permit on the car (which means no license plate) and had the paper tag in my back window which had just been tinted, so wasnít very visible. The cop was very nice (he used to be around my high school all the time so I knew him), and just talked to me about my car and where I got it from!

The only other time the cops paid attention to the car was the ONE and ONLY time my gf drove the car by herself, and a cop pulled her over simply because he thought the car was a Skyline.... even with the honda badges and honda prelude being written all over the car he kept telling her how fast and dangerous Nissan Skylines were... I was so pissed that I wasn't there to tell him how much of an ass he was...lol

    Nice one Danny, congrats!
Can't believe we hadn't already made you COTM before now but I am glad that we waited until you got them Work rims and the new Mugen lip on her

As SAKI said, you definitely have one of those inspirational 3rd gens (I know I already have plenty of pics of it in my desktops/screensavers gallery).
