    Honda: Power to shatter dreams.

The thing that annoys me is that they start talking about future cars and even start work on them and then pull them. NOBODY LIKES A TEASE!

but i have to say its smart on their part. Its fairly logical to cut high performance low sales cars and continue to have a viable business than it is to pursue the aforementioned high performance cars and go bust. So i say do what you must honda! i still like honda.

Yea but if you make a good sports car all can be forgiven

Look at aston martin, all they make are sports models and they make a massive amount of money

Honda can do the same but on a smaller scale (Instead of $250,000 cars they can make $23,000 cars)

All you need is a good product and it will sell, they have been missing alot since the end of the preludes and the dc2, they need a win

The Element would be a good addition given the sales of the CRV. Thats a car i'd like to see in our showrooms.

I'd like to see the Honda Ridgeline thrown into the mix. And wish they weren't canceling the MDX for the AUDM market.

Considering Toyota is having problems from the economic crisis, its really a smart move from Honda to cut back on costs to keep its head above the water, although its a big disappointment it's much better than seeing Honda on the news headlines asking for government assistance like GM and Ford.

NSX was the first thing that was pulled. I'm sure neither of them have been permanently stopped, but def for the next few years.

The Honda sports cars will be back. They going back to bread and butter cars now, cars that ppl still need even in bad economic times. Honda needs to make sure they survive, they're experiencing a 40% drop is demand, they've closed factories for a month to try and get rid of excess stock. 2 new factories have been shelved. They're in dire straits but doing much better than other car companies. They're predicting a 67% downturn in profits . . .

Perhaps of interest. The S2K is no longer listed on the Honda websites for sale.
Now listed under sports..they have...the FN2 Type R. The End.

Yeah the s2000 has been discontinued for a while. Good old wheels magazine informed me of that.
All we want is the FD2R, is that so hard to do?

Honda is the new Toyota, Japanese mobile white good manufacturer. Any wonder why that in 12 months time I won't be a Honda owner for the first time in over a decade.
