falcon one looks good. Mate of mine does a lot of light painting, he uses the little key ring LED torches in all different colours.
The sparklers are giving off too much light, to the point where the person doing the light painting can be seen

Love the long shutter speed, i have a couple like that on flickr.
I use a graduated ND filter for the water shots. It really depends on what landscapes. For instance, I bought an infrared filter to use on some landscapes but haven't had a chance to use it yet... but mostly I only use a UV filter for the landscapes.

I'll post up some other shots soon..

EDIT: What do you mean you made the mistake of getting screw in ones? Filters screw in.....

Ah, I guess not a mistake, but I have been reading about Grad ND Filters, they are on this page down a bit

Cheers for the comments, and yes you are right pjf, there is a lot of light in em. In a way I'm just having fun and exploring what you can and can't do with this stuff, and am not really stressed if it doesn't come out as a perfect image,

Here's a couple of recent landscapes taken with my Sigma 10-20. No post-editing on these.

Here are some of my efforts while taking photos of my best mate and his fiancee for their wedding coming up. The photos have not been Photoshopped mainly because i don't have it and can't use it also because i like using the natural background to create the image. Anyway any criticisms are welcomed, it's just a hobby for me i don't take it too seriously but i always want to take better photos. I apologise for the kissing photos but they turned out well IMO so i thought I'd include them.

With the ocean ones, try to position the horizon line in one of the 3rd grids, not in the middle of the photo. By that I mean you split the photo up into 3rds vertically and horizontally and you try to position things around those grids. It makes the composition more pleasing to the eye. I guess also try to get it horizontal too, they're a bit sloped...

Take a look at my 2 pics above for the 3rds rule.

Here's a few of mine from the Classic Japanese Meet in Melb a few months back. Nothing too special.

My favourite in terms of photography is the last one for sure.
