Unhappy 5th Gen vs DC2 VTI-R vs N/A supra vs corolla sportivo

Ok. i realise theres a few of these threads and ive looked around but i would just want to know who would come out on top in a 1/4 mile drag (at track of course)
    5th Gen Lude vti-r H22Z1 - stock as a rock
Integra Vti-r - CAI, headers, muffler
    Supra N/A - stock as a rock
    Corolla Sportivo - CAI

supposedly the sportivo is supposed to eat all of the others and my integra mate has been braggin that he'll win easy.

internet tells me that supra will get me and does that leave me the slowest? only beating civics?

tell me what you think guys

The 5th gen is a mid 15 car. Could be close, Drivers skill pending.

I ran consistent 15.4's with a bog stock, fully loaded 5th Gen with a slightly iffy clutch back when I very first got the car. Shamefully, the 4th Gen VTi-R's are about 15.1's as they weigh less.

Settle it on the track and let us know. Any comments really are just bench racing.

We had some Sportivos at a dyno day a few years ago, and the owners mentioned that the Corolla had the same problems as the Celica- a narrow power band and the gearing ratio meant that the engine went back to low cam very easily. If the driver is average, I'd say that the Corolla and the 5th gen would be evenly matched.

well i just found some new info, my mate has a r33 turbo rb25 skyline with minimal mods, and his younger bro bought a NA Supra, and its only got a zaust, and the supra beat it. im pretty sure they do low 14s standard the supras. Very fast, and quite cheap now too.

Slightly off topic, but I test drove an AE101 GT Apex Corolla Levin and Sprinter Trueno a few months back when I was looking for cars, and same kinda problem. Nice power delivery at the redline, but down low you got no torque at all.

Guess that's expected with the 4AGE 1.6L 20v i4 Silvertop. Still, stock individual throttle bodies and 5 valves per head is awesome. I'd take it over a B16 any day. =P

I've been in a 97 NA supra manual and that was bloody quick! I was comparing it to my dad's 95 wrx, it was that fast. I would think it would beat the corolla sportivo and most likely give the other cars in that list a run for their money.

Hmm, interesting to hear peoples thoughts on the supra! I drove a stock 93 n/a supra several times and was never really blown away by the power. It just felt heavy... I jumped out the supra into a mild modded (FMIC, filter & Exhaust) R32 GTST and holy shit! the Skyline blitzed the supra, it wasn't even a contest. I would guess that a modded vtir teg would beat a stock 5th gen vtir with the same driver in each car.

Meh, the only way to find out is to take em to the track... have fun

yeah supra isnt that impressive on a track stock, handling is pretty damn heavy and turning isnt that responsive however on a straight line.. hard to pass..
