I'm more worried about the affect it's going to have on transport costs for food and stuff. Sure there is an alternative to driving, but is there and alternative to eating food?

Yup the economy will slowly collapse on the back of petrol prices unless a viable soloution is found in the next 5-10 years.

I remember the old days, $30 to fill the car.. now it's $80.........
    I'm predicting under $2.00 though.

Knowing how much fuel prices get inflated around christmas, i wouldnt be surprised with upwards of 2.10 a litre to be honest.

i think 5-10 years is a bit generous. apparently (and yes this is from channel 7 or 9 news, so its not the greatest source) but food is going to be doubling in price in the near future. bit worrying as i like food

unfortunately fuel prices affect just about everything. so if fuel goes up so does just about everything else. so i dont care really isnt an option. however i dont see any point in worrying about something that is out of my hands. whatever happens happens. will give me a good excuse to buy a motor bike

i paid $1.96/lt to fill up the boat at the marina... be thankful the servo isn't playing those obvious ripoffs, cause it must cost the same to get it at a marina as it does to get it at the servo. Just taking the piss i reckon.
