    My first prelude project

hey all. i bought a 1989 prelude 4WS si recently and the engine had a spun bearing so was in need of replacement. gearbox was apparently fine. a small ding on the left behind the door and little pieces missing here and there. nothing too serious. its auto unfortunately but i got it so cheap i am not really that fussed.

i took it home on a trailer so im still yet to drive it as the first engine is almost out. i have a standard engine ready to go in that i bought of AYRTON that was rebuilt 40k ago so it should work nicely.

hopefully i have it in and running in the next few days, then i need 4 new tyres and a roadworthy. im an apprentice at honda in prahran so roadworthy is cheap and easy

then i am doing a custom cai that i found a write up for here, and i have a 4.5" Xforce cannon to go on and ill eventually get a hi flow cat to sit with it.

im ordering in crystal like headlights and looking around for fog lamps, customising my front bumper a bit and spraying my bonnet jet black.

then a small sound system and little bits and pieces after.
this is it when i bought it

    the interior is pretty decent

this is it now. its sitting on the mounts and the driveshafts have to come out and the gearbox shift selector cable.

let me know any suggestions of what else to do

Looks like it could use some alloys. Iv'e got a cannon on mine and I was suprised by how good it sounds. Should be a good car with some hard work!

it is pretty big haha. i got it for free so thats why its going on...if it looks too ridiculous ill probably invest in a nicer looking one. i have a set of the original rims, the front right atm is the spare because when i bought the car it had a puncture. so i have the original wheels, just a little bit gutter bashed, nothing too serious
