    Prettier maybe, overly expensive.. yes.

My mounts have poly inserts from Energy Suspension. It'll be fine. I'm happy with how it looks.

    Engine mounts.

Cage at all? Could be something serious to consider if your power outputs going to be over the 250kw mark.
I also just realized, I have no idea what amount of power you looking at getting. I'd be disappointed with anything under 250kw atw with the work you've put in.

ROFL i'm laughing hard right now...

Don't worry guys, the blue radiator hoses are out - and these opinions just confirm the decision it for me. Black it is! BTW, those hoses are proper "Gates" hoses - not some ricey ebay ones - I bought them with an order of a Gates thermostat.

Also, the valve cover is going to get repainted again. Its not quite the right colour (as can be seen in the photos). It will also get a couple of coats of clear to make it super shiney.
The "vtec" lettering is not going to be polished off though - sorry Pat!

why dont you sand the lettering off the valve cover all together? so the top is just completely smooth. If ur going to paint over the lettering anyway...

I don't care if they're Gates, they just don't suit! Good to hear you're going black.

Not quite sure how to answer this question? You could start by reading this thread from round about here...

Nah I like the lettering there, and exactly how it looks right now.

lol, in all fairness to the "ugly" blue gates hoses, I reckon that coolant exploding from old hoses would probably look even worse

Regardless of the blue, looking pretty damn sexy there Steve!
