Well I definately had a massively motivating day today!

Brad let me drive his s2000 and hit it full throttle through to 4th gear... just wow...
Then Ian came over and I drove his now boosted 3rd gen and omg the noise this thing makes is AWESOME!

We then compression tested my motor along with brads and ians...

    210, 205, 210, 210

Very happy with those figures... Seems even after 295thousand kms the motor holds strong. Who said the H series was a weak motor?

I've heard Penrite is tha shiz for turbo motors
The path of Honda is beset on all sides by the iniquities of Mazda and the tyranny of Nissan. Blessed is the Honda owner who in the name of handling and performance shepherds his Honda through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his Honda's keeper and the finder of lost kilowatts. And I will strike down upon thee with great acceleration and furious VTEC those who attempt to overtake and destroy my Hondas. And you will know my name is PRELUDE when I lay my VTEC upon thee.

Speaking of oils Elee, what do you recommend using in the gearbox with the Cusco LSD?
I have been using only Honda MTF but Cusco seem to recommend their own LSD oil - trying to determine if its just cross promotion of their products or if the LSD oil is specifically required?

Keep me posted about the H22 valvesprings/valves/retainers dude.

I was using MOTUL... i think GEAR 300 (not sure what it was called).

You will need about 2L and should cost about $70. Been so long i can't remember, but i'm sure of the above.

Waiting on a reply for the parts.

Just for those that are interested:

    GEAR 300

    75W-90

Ester-based and 100% synthetic, GEAR 300 is formulated for gearboxes and rear axles, especially for competition cars - racing circuit, rallies and endurance trails. GEAR 300 is test proven effective to extreme pressure resistance in all types of cars and under all types of uses. GEAR 300 extremely high lubricity reduces friction. It also offers anti-wear, anti-corrosion and anti-foam capabilities.

    SPECIFICATIONS

    Product GEAR 300

Feature 100% synthetic, ester-based. Easy gear shift properties. High lubricating abilities.

    SAE/DOT Standard 75W-90

    Specification API GL4/GL5 & MIL-L-2105D

    Maker's Approval —

Compatibility All gearboxes & hypoid rear axles without LSD. All types of cars - circuit, rally, 4wd & passenger.
Thanks for that Elee, I will be getting some 75W-90 oil (if motul is unavailable) to run in my LSD. As I've read on honda-tech/other forums it seems to be the go for FWD LSD transmissions.

Well guys, I have some progress on this thang!
The dump pipe is COMPLETE! totally done... Check out this work of art...

The wastegate pipe clears the alternator/power steer/aircon just nicely and merges back with the exhaust underneath the car as shown in the 2nd last pic.

I will be wrapping this thing in heat wrap to keep the enginebay temps really low. It seems like a shame but you probably wouldnt see much of the dump pipe anyway once the engine is in the car.

Plenty of clearance of the radiator/fans and aircon piping. I'm really happy with it.

Next step: Pull the head for reconditioning. I have decided on a machine shop to do the work for me... will keep you guys posted.
