I've been having a hell of a lot of trouble with running the driver's side intercooler piping.
Here's the mockup with pie-cut pieces of tube so far. There really isnt a lot of space in this area - and the bumper support is requiring some careful cutting to make it fit too.

And another shot of the enginebay pipes mocked up with tape this time:

I've also had to start fabricating a front engine mount - there's no way the stock mount is going to fit with the turbo clocked how it is... You can see my cardboard templates here - I will be making up a custom U bracket to hold a spherical rod end on each side as the mount...

thats a bit unfortunate to have to have all those kinks in the pipe..
could modify the end tank so the outlet is in the middle, but thats a bit of work.
is there room to go under that section somehow?

PM me for all your car audio and other miscellaneous installation needs.

It doesn't really need those kinks, mine just goes straight out and follows the inside contour of the front bumper. I'll take a photo when it's light outside for you if you like?

Ian is correct on both counts.
Headlight takes up all the room above, and I have JDM foglights which I plan on keeping.

Stickytape is a reasonably quick way to pull on / off pipes if they fit and adjust them before marking for welding.

Its all just mocking up at this stage.

hey dude im not that familiar with the front bar of your lude but can you run that charge pipe below ( as in the same height as the bottom of the radiator ) all those holes and bumper brakets and around to the opening where it then routes to the intake ?

might be worth while getting a fabshop/engineer to do that mount , esp for mod plating . might have to be cert ? good luck

That would interfere with the foglights. I don't have foglights, therefore that's where it is.

As Saki mentioned, it would interfere with where the foglight is mounted. Hence the funky kink. And no, the foglight isnt getting removed.

Nah, you dont need it engineered, its simply a front torque mount. I'm getting a friend who works at an engineering shop to supply me with the parts to make it myself. He talked to the other lads in the shop and they reckon it will be sweet.
